Hi! 

I've recently left my old provider and  purchased a 12-month sim only plan with EE.

The order was processed and gave me the option of a sim card or an eSim (which I'd chose) and they said would be in the confirmation email I was sent for the order.

I received the email quickly and registered on the EE app, but can't find the QR code/option to register the eSim to my phone. 

I'm not sure if it matters, but I also chose to keep the same number and provided the PAC code I was given. 

Please help! 🙂

Welcome to the community,

You will receive the EE SIM card by second class post, you first have to have a physical SIM card and insert it into your phone before you can get an ESim, you will not find the QR code or option until you have inserted the physical SIM card and made sure it is active.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Ah, thank you for the quick response - this wasn't mentioned in when I placed the order or in the confirmation email (unless it's common knowledge) hahah! 

I'll keep an eye out for the post over the next few days 🙂

Hi @Schockwave,

I've still not received the physical sim - I have a feeling this may have been lost in the post! 

I'm leaning towards placing a new order, for a physical sim this time, but am worried that as EE already have my bank details that they may see this as two separate sim only contracts and I'll be charged for both! 

As of yet, I've not had any money taken from my account. 

What would you advise?

I would suggest calling us on 0800 956 6000 and the team can check the order and help you with the SIM card.
