eSim activation

hi, i signed up earlier today and opted for a esim to get set up straight away. ive had the email to activate and it says to login and wait for the prompt to set up esim ! im not getting anything just lets me log in and no mention of anything?

Was it a brand new connection? Is it a SIM only plan that you have? What kind of phone are you using?

Hi yes new connection, bringing my number from another network, sim only on a Google pixel 6 pro. It's  saying I need to setup my account and then use the temp number but I get no option to register the temporary number or to download the esim. 

Will I also get a QR code in the post fro the esim ?

It's possible the eSIM is being sent through the post. This is what our eSIM help page says, though:

If you've ordered an eSIM for a SIM only plan with us, you'll be able to download your eSIM by logging in to EE. Simply follow the instructions in your confirmation email. If you’re using the EE app, make sure you're using the latest version.

What does it say on your confirmation email?

That's what my email says but I'm getting no option to link my account. I'll have to try ringing when I get chance later. I have tried using messenger but no reply yet !!

I think it's a good idea to speak with our Mobile Care team, @andy20x. They'll be able to check your account and confirm whether there's one coming through the post or help you download it.
