eSIM actvation

I have recently purchased an Unlimited Data plan, but the physical SIM card has not arrived yet.

At the moment, I am using another SIM card with very limited remaining data, and I need to keep that number active.

I would like to know if it is possible to activate my Unlimited Data plan as an eSIM immediately, before the physical SIM card is delivered, using it for mobile data only.

My phone supports Dual SIM (physical SIM + eSIM).

If this is possible, please let me know how I can receive the eSIM QR code or activate the eSIM through my account or app.

Thanks for visiting the EE Community

Is it a contract SIM or pay as you go SIM that you have ordered? eSIM is only available on pay monthly contract plans currently. 

If it is a contract SIM and you have the new EE number linked up to your EEID, you should be able to setup a verified ID in the app via the profile section.

Once you have a verified ID you should be able to download an eSIM from Manage>Settings>SIM/eSIM> Replace. Then follow same steps to activate. If you do not have a verified ID you wont be able to this as it will require an OTP sent to the current SIM.
