I have switched toa new phone and inserted my SIM. But there is no connection. I cannot call support because there's no connection.

Welcome to the community,

Have you still got your old SIM card? Have you inserted that one? You do not need to use the SIM card that came with the new phone.

You would otherwise have to either use the app, click on manage at the bottom of the app, click on mobile and sims, then scroll down to settings,, then sim/esim and see if you can get it activated, or use another phone or web based app to ring customer service to get it activated or go to an EE store with a photo ID and get it activated.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
