cant set up new esim

my pevious number was being put back onto my new mobile today i tried downloading new esim its not working and its sending one time code to the number im trying to get back

@Kath861  You need to call customer support as they can activate this for you. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Kath861 : Your no. hasn't ported yet. You need to port it to a new EE physical SIM before you can convert it to eSIM.

i have new iphone 16a i upgraded but at first didnt transfer my old number thenvthey said i could have it on 5th sept it didnt upload it said try again later i deleted number off my iphone16a thinking thats why new number wasnt downloading ive tried setting up it wants to send pin number to the number that wont upload so i cant get the pin
