iPhone 8+

I recently changed from bt to ee and kept my old number. My problem is when I go into my phone settings it still shows the number I received with the ee sim and it won’t let me change it. Any ideas ?

Dad bought pay as you go phone

SIM card issues

Recently been switched from BT to EE. When I put the SIM into the phone I received off EE it says there is no SIM. I've tried all the troubleshoots on the EE help page but none worked and I am now at a loss.
