So my port went through today from Three to EE; seems to have gone OK, when I call my old number it rings on my new EE SIM so thats good, but in my phone settings the number shown is the "temporary" EE number..?? I can edit it but I cannot save once I type in my actual number - tapping "Save" just does nothing at all!
How do I correct this?

Hi,
thanks for the reply.. I followed those steps but it was still the same, however upon doing some more research I saw the people had had success with resetting the network settings; I did this and it successfully changed the number to my correct one!
Cheers

Do outbound calls & texts show the correct number?

@martin2345uk turn off iMessage and FaceTime and then restart the device now check your number settings/apps/phone if it shows correct, you can reenable on FaceTime and iMessage.

@martin2345uk - not sure if you have solved your issue, but this is what I did, and it worked (iPhone) -
In settings, scroll down to "Apps" - find "Messages" and click on "Send & Receive" - UNTICK the temporary number which shows - Then turn off iMessage - Then go to Facetime, and turn it off. Restart the phone, and head back to the "Send & Receive" section of Messages - Click on the temporary number which is showing there, and your old number should then show up.
