Did you mean:

When will my previous number be moved over?

I collected my new phone on Thursday evening, supplied my PAC code. I've had no phone access since then. I've got a message saying the transfer will happen by 27th May (!!!!) I thought it was 24 hours!

I moved from o2 because of their incompetence, please reassure me that EE are better

Hi @Jude278 Welcome to EE!

Your EE SIM will have signal, as you have received a message confirming the PAC transfer.
As @XRaySpeX has mentioned, once you make your first phone call, this will initiate the PAC transfer to go ahead and complete in 1 working day.
(If no call is made, it will automatically transfer on 27th May)

However, with or without the PAC code, you should still be able to make calls from the EE SIM.

I'd recommend giving Customer Service a call from your other phone, so they can check your plan is set up correctly with no initial restrictions on voice calls.

Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network.

A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.

I suspect the date on your text was a standard one - you can contact CS on 150 if you are concerned, but I'd imagine your PAC was (effectively) submitted on Friday, which would mean port-in today, Monday 12th.

What do you mean by having  no phone access? Once you activate your SIM in your phone on the EE network your no. will be ported within 1 working day.
