Verification Codes

I ported my number over yesterday and it works fine but as im re-installing apps various banks/govt sites are sending me verification codes but they aren't coming through. Tried calling help line yesterday and was put through to level 2 but couldn't see any issue. This is a major issue as i am about to ge tlocked out of paypal. gov uk etc as for some reason EE wont allow codes through. How can i fix before i end up cancelling?

Do you still have the old SIM card and phone? If so, could you check if they have been sent to this device?

yeah the old sim card is from id mobile, its still in the old phone but i reset it yesterday when i moved it all over to the new phone. how would i check?
