Hello @adda ,

Welcome to the community,

Once you have inserted your SIM card into your new phone, you can log into My EE App, click on the icon at the top and then settings and scroll down to Device and Sim and click on replace my Sim/ESim, you can request it there.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

@adda   Do not request the eSim until you have put your original sim in the new device and it’s all working as you’ll be sent a text to confirm the change.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Many Thanks to Shockwave and Chris_B for getting back to me. My understanding is that the iphone 14 pro max is eSim only, there is no slot for a physical sim. I'm moving from an iphone 7 and again I believe that as it has IOS older than 16 (i.e. 15.7.1) I cannot do the straight phone to phone transfer, I have to obtain a QR code and scan it into my new phone. If this is correct I'm just wondering how I obtain the QR code?

iPhone 14 pro max does have a physical sim slot. Only the USA version is esim only.

Many Thanks, I didn't realise it was just US for the eSim only.

Hi All,

I'm going to get an iPhone 14 pro from the US as it's slightly cheaper there, but I know the US models do not have a sim slot.

My question is, therefore, is it easy to move my current SIM card to an eSIM only? I'm actually with another provider at the moment, but I'll port my number on to EE on a physical SIM on a SIMO contract if it makes the process easier.

Thanks in advance!

N

Hi Gareth43,

If I have an iPhone 14 Pro from the US (no sim card slot) then how do I transfer my current EE number to it?

Thanks,

N
