Hi.
Not sure if I'm allowed to post here but I'm sure you'll let me know. I've just bought a sim from Popit who use the EE network I took one of their sims because of the generous roaming allowance which I intend to use whilst traveling Europe. I have ported my number to the new sim with a pac code from three which was my previous network. Three have confirmed that the port has gone through but I am unable to receive calls or texts, I can send them and the recipients confirm that the number sending is my ported number from three. Popit help desk doesn't inspire confidence although eventually they said they would look further into it. Does anyone know if I would be able to contact EE directly to get some help on this and if so what would be a good contact number?
Cheers.

Hi @gaffer61
Welcome to the EE Community.
If your number is being ported to a third party company, you'd be best contacting them about this.
EE will not be able to access your account if it's with another provider.

Thanks Jon, I thought that might be the case. Can I just ask though in your experience is this a problem that occurs
often and does it kind of work itself out? What are the common issues in a situation like this.

Hi @gaffer61,
All network operators have dedicated porting teams to deal with exactly this sort of issue. It rarely takes more than a day or two to resolve.
Hope this helps.
