Help, why can't I receive or make any phone calls? I have just swapped providers from O2 to EE this morning, I can use whatsapp, internet, etc but not make any calls. I asked my husband to call me but he said that his calls were cut off immediately. I also turned off then turned on my phone many times just to see if it works but it did not help.

When was your PAC submitted to EE? Your port-in date should normally be the working day following that, providing it was before approx 4pm on a working weekday.
Add a day to that, if a weekend or after approx 4pm.

Hi thanks for replying. I gave the PAC to the EE staff this morning when I applied to swap providers.

If your PAC was submitted this morning, your port-in date will likely be tomorrow, 28/08
Your EE phone should be fully functional on a temporary number today though - is that not the case? Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly, for starters?

I only availed their mobile sim and their broadband, im still using my old phone. Im only having problems with making and receiving phone calls.

What does "only availed their mobile SIM" mean? What is the problem you're having with making calls - what happens when you try?
Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly? Does your phone show coverage indicators?
