Tried to transfer to an esim for my new iphone

Hi

I’ve just tried to switch to an esim for my new iphone 14, I selected to set it up on my new phone but I don’t seem to be receiving any service and now I’ve lost service on my old phone. 
help would be much appreciated.

I’ve managed to fix the problem. I went into setting and toggled “turn off this line”, when I switched it back on it connected.
