Transferring phone number

How long does it take to transfer a number?  I ordered a new SIM card and provided PAC code on Friday - SIM card was delivered on Saturday.  My old number had not been transferred.  I understand that it can take 24Hrs and as it was the weekend expected it to come live on Monday - has not happened yet.  Can anyone give me an idea when I should expect the my transferred number to come live on the new SIM?

If the SIM card was delivered Saturday, the next available port date would normally be Tuesday.
