Hi,
I have added a new Pay Monthly sim to my account that will be used be my father-in-law. He would like to keep his old PAYG number and I've spent nearly an hour with customer service only to be told they have to speak to him to get confirmation, having been told initially it could be done without him present. He lives some distance away. They would not call him.
Anyone had this issue, and hopefully a resolution, before?

@bluesharp you’re being told correct they cannot move his number onto your account without his authorisation it’s his number and will need his permission. Customer services and give you a code so you can give that code to him so he can call customer services and give that code and then he can give his authorisation to move his number onto your account.
I did just this a few months ago.
