Switching to EE

I have recently switched to EE and have had a few issues with my old number being transferred. Now on my EE app it said my old number that I wanted to keep however in iPhone settings it still has the old EE temp number being used and comes up when I message or call other people. I have turned iMessage off and tried to correct it manually in settings but nothing work. 

what can I do?

How recently is recently, for your port-in date? Are inbound calls to your ported-number ringing on your phone as expected?

If outbound calls & texts (ignore apps & iOS things for now) are giving the wrong number, and assuming you've already restarted your phone after receiving the "port complete" message, then you should contact EE CS on 150.

It’s stated that the port in service has been complete today. I contacted EE and they said turn the device off and on again at 12. I have just done so and nothing has changed. When making calls and texts the receiver says it’s coming under the temp number still not the transferred one.

Welcome to the EE Community 

Are these SMS texts and network calls that are showing the other number, you are not using iMessage or Facetime for these calls/messages where the temporary number is showing? 

If someone makes a call to your actual number, is this coming through to your EE SIM? 

As if it just iMessage or Facetime having the issue, this is just a setting in your phone that needs updating. But if SMS and network calls are not working with your actual number that suggests a different issue with the port in having not fully completed yet.
