I recently signed up to EE on Saturday 28th September switching from o2. Gave the salesman the PAC code to switch number.
It’s now Wednesday 2nd October & it’s still not been switched over.
also I have NO phone or data service at all  so I can’t contact EE At all. No numbers are accepted including 350.
is this normal or have I made a mistake by signing on with EE

A port-in using a PAC takes one working day from when the EE SIM is received & activated.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

I can’t phone the free phone number

No number works.

Hi @IanBou83

I'm so sorry to hear the switch over to EE hasn't gone smoothly and you've been left without service.

If your old SIM and your new EE SIM are both not working, then you'll need to contact us from an alternative device so we can check the details further.

If you aren't in a position to call us (150 from your EE mobile or 07953 966 150 from any other phone), then please head to your local EE store with valid photo ID so the team can help. Feel free to just drop in, or book an appointment ahead of time.

I’m not impressed

after 4hrs on the phone between three different technical staff I have been told that I may not be connected to network until Tuesday 8th/Wednesday 9th.
This is unacceptable

You should at least have service on the temporary EE number until your original number is ported-in.

To have otherwise is unusual.

Phoned this afternoon & contacted the accounts team to ask for a PAC Code so as I can move to another supplier.

Attempting to action a fresh PAC when a previous one has an outstanding issue, does have potential to cause complications.

PACs aren't actioned on weekends anyway.

It’s funny

once I informed them that I was going to hand the phone back & terminate the contract (as I am still in the honeymoon period). They resolved all issues with in Five(5) minutes. Not a week or 120hrs 5 minutes.
No explanation

I was going to consider other EE products like there broadband but if this is the kind of stress involved I’ll just stick with who I’m with.

Good conspiracy theory, but the luck (or not) of the draw is more likely. It shouldn't happen, but if your issue is off-script, all bets are off.
