Sim not working

Got a sim card today put in phone .tried to activate with barcode keeps saying its wrong . Can not receive or call .sent text for advisor to call but it says that I did not answer but phone never rang.what do I do .I really need my phone for work

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Sim from ee .phone not locked.i have Samsung s9 .yes I am in UK. Thank you for reply
