So I think porting to ee was a biggest mistake considering how they even messed up with my house broadband !! Don’t know how I was managed to be convinced to port to ee,I wasn’t sent the sim and I was debited ,to make the matter worse my current sim operator has disengaged Me from their services .. now I can’t even step out of the house cos I can’t access anything I mean anything I can’t call out nor in except I get a wifi around .. can I pop in to any retail store to get an ee sim . Pls note I don’t want to loose my current number 😢

Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network.
A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.
When did you activate your EE SIM onto the network for the first time?

Wasn’t delivered a sim , ee is super clumsy and I actually regretted I fell into the bait the second time , they didn’t deliver a SIM card yet ee was deducting from my acct ok direct debit !! As if that wasn’t enough my old network provider blocked my sim since I have ported !! Now I can’t call in or out . I just went to a retail store to get a ee sim ths morning thinking it should work since they failed to deliver one ! Alas I wasn’t ported ! Now I have lost my number of over 10 years on me been listening to ee customer care provider 😢

Morning @Oyin26
Thanks for reaching out here in the community.
I am sorry you have had a bad experience so far, this is not what we would expect.
You have mentioned that your old provider has blocked your sim, have you spoken to them to see if they can reinstate the sim card to proceed with the port in request?
If you have just registered your new EE sim card, you will get a temporary number and then the port in request should take effect 24 hours after.
It may be worth Contacting Us to check in and get some clarification on what is happening.
Thanks
Ritu

If you've not received an EE SIM, I'm at a loss how you can instigate a port into EE. The systems simply don't work that way.
You then mention "I wasn't ported", in which case your number should still be live on the original network.
Something about this tale isn't adding up, or there's some detail missing.
