Ive just bought a new iPhone through EE. My old phone is broken so I can use it and its quite important I get a new one set up ASAP. I was with o2 before. I am still waiting on my new EE SIM card. Am I able to put my old o2 sim into my new phone in the meantime, or will this cause my new phone to become locked to o2/make it difficult when my EE sim arrives?

I heard that apple/iPhones lock to like the first mobile carrier or something

You may use your O2 SIM in any device for as long as it's active. Your new phone won't be locked to anything.
