Hi, i recently bought an EE sim card only with a request for my old number to be transfered.via PAC. New sim arrives, make an account and try connect device. Old number isnt recognised and sim card isnt recognised. So i am currently stuck with out text, calls, 4g and my number i need has vanished. Been 24 hours and online chat was no use..

Hello @Calblan

Welcome to the EE Community.

When did you request your number to be transferred?

The new SIM will arrive with a temporary number until your number port has been completed.

Speak soon,

Katie

I purchased the sim only on the 27th dec with the option to transfer my old number over with the pac code. The sim arrived yesterday, i installed the same around 7pm. I then made an ee account and tried adding my device, i used my old number i want, and the number given to the sim. Neither worked. Cant text or call or use 4g as i have unavailble service (i have full bars) .

Thanks for confirming @Calblan

I would recommend getting in touch by calling 0800 079 8586 from any landline or provider.

Let us know how you get on after speaking to our mobile care team @Calblan

Leanne 🙂

I cant even get through to a calls person as the autobot requires a number. Which are currently not working.

Hi @Calblan

You can use the temporary EE number you were provided, or if you call 0800 956 6000 no number will be needed.

Leanne.

Talked them and solved nothing unfortuently. I think i will cancel my pac code from giffgaff and cancel my monthlys with EE.. shame this happened...
