Sim card not provisioned

Hi,
I had requested a new SIM card, as I lost the old one abroad. However, upon inserting the replacement one I get a "SIM card not provisioned" message.
Ive tried cleaning the port, the SIM , the obvious airplane mode off/on, phone restart, network settings reset etc (pixel 7 pro), but still get the message and no reception.
It has been around 20 hours or so since I've inserted the card, so not quite sure what to do?
Help?

Did you request a replacement SIM card, or just a new SIM card?
If this is a SIM card with a new number, then you would need to activate it, if a replacement SIM card, you may need to contact customer service:
G https://ee.co.uk/contact-ee/account-billing/mobile
You can also contact them with the free number from any phone or using something like Skype.
