Seamless Number Transfer Experience with EE

Recently, I purchased a new EE SIM-only Pay Monthly plan and was assigned a new number. Shortly after, I remembered that I had an old Pay As You Go number that was much easier to remember.

I thought it was worth asking EE if they could transfer my old number to the new plan—but honestly, I didn’t expect much.

To my surprise, the entire process was completed over a call in under 2 minutes. No complications, no delays—just quick and efficient service.

Thanks to that, I now have my easy-to-remember “VIP-style” number up and running on my new plan.

A genuinely smooth experience—credit where it’s due!

Yes, that is 1 accepted way to transfer from PAYG to contract on EE. The recommended way is How Do I Upgrade from Pay As You Go?
