Hi everyone,
I recently ported my number from Lycamobile to
EE, and since then I've been having an issue with receiving verification SMS (OTP codes).
I can receive normal text messages without any problem, and calls and data are working fine.
However, 1 am not receiving any verification codes from apps or services (such as banking apps, WhatsApp, etc.).
Here's what I've already tried:
• Reset network settings on my iPhone
• Restarted the device
• Turned airplane mode on/off
• Contacted EE support
• Requested and activated a replacement SIM card
Unfortunately, the issue is still not resolved.
It seems like there might be a problem with SMS routing or short code messages after the porting
process.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue after porting to EE?
Is there anything else I should ask EE to check or reset on their side?
Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi @FARID1980
It looks like you've taken the right first steps, which is great.
Please give our Customer Service team a call on 150 from your phone where a guide in the technical team will be able to run a diagnostics to get to the bottom of the reason you're not receiving your OTP codes.
If it's an issue with the routing table, they can request the your previous network to update this. Alternatively they'll raise a ticket to correct the cause.
