I placed an order for a SIM only on the 23rd of July. I’ve had an email of confirmation but no text to say it’s dispatched and it’s hasn’t been delivered. I’ve tried calling the number on the email to be hit with an hour waiting time every time I call, I don’t have an hour to sit listening to awful hold music. I don’t have an EE number as it is to call 150 and calling any other EE number is proving to be useless. What is going on? If it continues to be this bad, I’ll cancel it before I even try it.

Welcome to the community,
The SIM card is sent by second class post, so you should have received it by now, but the post does seem to be slower at present.
If when ringing customer service, you should not wait more than 30 minutes, so I would suggest hanging up and trying later.
If you are near an EE high street store and have photo ID, you can go there and get one.

I am aware but I stil haven’t received it after 7 working days. I’ve phoned multiple times and been on the phone for 24, 37 and 41 minutes. Still no answer. It’s a bit out of order really.
i ordered online as I struggle with time to get to a store when they’re open.
