I got a replacement SIM card and phone yesterday and I can not get the SIM working it's really stressing me out and I can't call EE what can I do

What was the reason for the replacement SIM & phone - was this a lost/stolen? Upgrade? Or something else?
In what way is the SIM not working - is network coverage shown?

@karenaltass , if your original SIM card works, then use that one, as sometimes EE do send a new SIM card.
