SIM card unable to be activated

My brand new EE SIM card cannot be activated as it requires a code sent to my number, but my old SIM has already been disabled. So my phone number just doesn’t work now.

Hi @reyreynich18

Sorry to hear you no longer have access to your old SIM.  Did you order the replacement SIM online?

You'll need to call customer service from a different device, where a member of the team can order a pre-activated replacement SIM card or eSIM QR code for you. Contact Us | Help & Support - EE

Alternatively, you can pop into any EE store with photo ID and the guide will issue you a replacement pre-activated SIM free of charge straight away. EE Store Finder | How to find your nearest EE store | EE

You'd only be able to use the option to order or download a SIM online if you have access to your previous SIM, due to the security PIN sent via SMS.

You can find out more at How do I swap or get a replacement EE SIM
