Ive just added my new sim card to phone (pay as you go), but it's now stuck in my phone because sim card holder broke, plus I don't know what to do, I wanted my previous number transferred to EE but the card with sim shows a different number,  I have no idea what to do because it says phone does not have sim. I am frankly panicked.!!!

@Sunnysidedown , when did you port your number over to EE?

If it shows a different number, did you get a PAC from your previous network?

You would need a SIM card from EE for the transfer to work, you cannot use the SIM card from your previous network, so you would need to be able to change the SIM card to EE SIM card for it to work.

Yes I got a PAC # and told EE

Ok no idea what port my # is, I'm 71, had a stroke not long ago and been with my current supplier 20 years I am so anxious about this I can't think straight

Oh Ok I tried to send PORT to 150 but it said i had no SIM, so then went to take it out, and the thing broke on me so it;s now stuck in the phone, I'm going to a phone shop tomorrow, rural area, so have to travel,  I can't get the 6 digit code because I have no sim working ...if that makes sense

Thanks for your help and phone number suggestions. I had no luck with 'local' phone shop, was told  SIM was unsalvageable, so came home and Skype called customer service, I waited about 10 mins, but my questions and the sim card issue was solved really well, the customer service was excellent, very patient and kind, (and believe me I don't say that lightly these days, so many companies have lost the art of helping customers). I've been very stressed albeit that's an issue I have to deal with now, but felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders.

@Sunnysidedown , you are very welcome, glad to help and glad you got it sorted and that customer service were helpful and sorted you out, thank you for letting me know.
