Hi,
I’ve had my phone contract just over 2 years with EE. I moved to SIM only a couple of weeks ago . I’ve started to have issues with my SIM card with ‘no sim’ being displayed with no mobile network. The network will eventually come back on but then go off again. I’ve tried re inserting my sim, switching phone of etc but that no longer works. I’ve even been sent a new sim and still have the same issue. I’ve been without connection to my network for over 24hrs now. When I place my partners SIM card into my phone it picks up the sim straight away likewise when I put my SIM card into my partners phone it works fine.
Any ideas?
thanks

Hi @Beechboy2000.
Welcome to the community.
Is your partners SIM EE?
Does this occur in multiple locations?

hi
My partner is on a differenT network and yes it occurs in multiple locations. It went off yesterday while I was at home and today I’m in work 9 mile away and it’s still showing as no sim.
Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me @Beechboy2000.
Please could you check the area for any known issues?

Hi there’s not faults. I spoke to a customer service a few days ago who also did the same and said there was no issues. This is when they posted my new sim

Have you been able to test your SIM in another device @Beechboy2000?

Yes I’ve just transferred my sim onto my works phone and the sim works fine in that. I’ve just put it back into my phone and it’s started working again after 24hours being off in my phone.
What’s causing this issue? As my sim will go off again at some point
thanks

Hi @Beechboy2000.
If the SIM works OK in another device this would indicate its your phone.
What phone do you have?

I have a 12pro.
Other SIM cards work ok in my phone when my sim is not working. So I don’t know what’s causing the issues

Have you tried backing up your phone and doing a factory reset @Beechboy2000?
