SIM Card Not working in electric drive gate

I have just inserted a new EE SIM with 250MB of Data into my gate GSM generator board and it doesn’t work.  The gate control app (CAME) shows the gate as off line.  I have use the sun in my phone and called my own number and all works well and the EE account for the sim shows the data is present.  Please advise.
