Replacing SIM in 5g laptop whilst on holiday

Hey people,

Im an existing Pay Monthly customer and am thinking of getting the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 5g through EE. My question(s), would EE send me a sim with a new number for the laptop and, if i were to take that laptop on holiday, could i easily switch it with a foreign SIM with local data allowance, so i dont incur crazy roaming charges? Will the laptop come with an integrated sim, or is it as easy as just removing the EE SIM from the SIM card slot and replacing with the foreign one?

Cheers m'dears..

A new lappy will come with its own SIM & mobile no. It should be unlocked for any network.

Hey Spex,

Thanks for getting back to me..

So i would have to insert the new EE SIM into the slot on the laptop myself, meaning i could replace it with the foreign one while im away? Also, if i wanted to just have 1 line (the current one i have with my EE mobile), could i just pop that one in there instead while I'm in the uk and forgo adopting a 2nd mobile number?

Thanks

Yes to all except you won't be forgoing the 2nd mobile no. The lappy contract will still be registered to its own mobile no. even if you insert a diff. SIM.
