Replacement SIM not working

Just got a replacement SIM as my previous one was damaged; it says on the packaging that I can just pop it in my phone and it's work straight away.

It's been over 24 hours and I still have no signal - I really don't want to have to call them again - is there no way to activate this only, it seems the only way I can do it online is by them sending me a text... which obviously I'm not going to receive.

Do you have access to another phone?

The team can be contacted by calling 0800 956 6000. 

Alternatively, if you live near an EE Store you can pop by with photo ID.

Thanks - I used a web chat service earlier in the week that seems to have vanished now.
