Hi everyone,
I have recently switched over to EE from another network and am waiting for my new sim to come as I wanted to keep the same number.
However, prior to switching over to EE I did order another pay as you go sim for my secondary phone (This was before I had even decided to switch over to EE). That came first before my other sim. I put that pay as you go sim onto my secondary phone and it looks like the current contract is now under that new number which isnt what I wanted...
So now will my actual new sim with the same number not be valid anymore? i don't want to pay for two contracts. The idea was my pay as u go sim was to be used as and when I needed it not have a contract if that makes sense?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Thanks @Bubbl3tea, that's what I was thinking had been the case!
I would recommend giving our customer care team a call just so they can check 100% that it's the contract that's now up and running on this SIM.
Once we've confirmed that, they can also take your PAC and ensure we get your number brought over.
If you're only needing the other phone very occasionally, then pay as you go is definitely going to be the best way forwards here.
You can order a SIM for free direct from our site, pop into an EE store, or also pick these up in Supermarkets and Newsagents too.
Peter
