Hi Leanne,
I'm in the process of transferring my existing number from Vodaphone to EE. I had an email from EE on 23/10/22 confirming my Vodaphone PAC code had been acknowledged and my existing number would be transferred to my new EE sim within 1 working day. Its now 27/10/22 and I am in receipt of the new EE sim card (with it's temporary number) but no transfer has happened! I can't reply to the EE email, it's impossible to get through on the phone to EE (looong wait times) and there is no online ability to chat. I'm still therefore using my Vodaphone sim card but I'm now being charged for the EE sim from 2 days ago! Anyone have any other solutions how I can find out when EE will transfer my existing number over?

Welcome to the EE Community, @Frenchwood.
What phone are you using?
Do you still have service on the Vodaphone SIM?

Hi Jon
I have a Samsung but it was nothing to do with that. I eventually called EE yesterday and just hung on in a 45 min queue to speak with a human. It would seem something wasn't triggered EE's end from the original request on 23/10. She did something her end then told me the switchover would happen within 24 hrs. It has now worked. It's a shame EE doesn't offer a live chat. But my number is finally switched over now. It took 5 days in all.

Hello Frenchwood. I put my new EE SIM in my phone yesterday 29th. December, and have been told this morning that my number won't be transferred until 4th. January.
I would have thought, in this day and age, that it could be done almost instantly.
I am back to using my old BT SIM, although I have paid a month up front to EE. Doesn't make sense.
