Happened to me as well!! Just been reported on Look East to other Customers???? Seems EE/BT had a security breach??

@John___WhyStay It’s not a security breach the scammer just needs information about you to pass as you when they call customer support to request the PAC.

Could be BUT
To verify me as a customer they send a code to my phone? As at the time my phone didnt receive a code, how did it pass the security check?

Also I called CS immediately after receiving a text to say that my number porting had been requested and asked for it to be cancelled which didn't happen as requested only 48hours later when I called again did it get cancelled?????
