SMS sending on a different number

This is happening to me. All texts are going through to my old phone but calls are coming through in my new phone like they should. It says my number has been transferred over but when I check my phone number in settings it’s a random one and not the number I transferred

I started it yesterday and got the text today saying my number transfer was
complete--

Hi @ionamcindewar,

Is it iMessages you're still receiving on your old phone?

If it is, please deregister your old phone from iMessage.
