Re: Replacement SIM card not connecting - Stolen phone

My phone was stolen on Monday (while abroad). My passport too ...so I cannot get back to the UK until this is sorted. I would like to know (having ordered a replacement SIM from EE on Tuesday) if I get a friend to send the new SIM to me in Greece will it be activated automatically when I put it in a replacement phone?

Somebody told me that I must take the new SIM into an EE store to get it activated! (Obviously, I can't do this while abroad).

Thanks for your assistance.

If it's on PAYG they should make a call or text before sending it to you.
