Problem Transferring old phone number

I have been trying to transfer my old bt number for 2 days now and I keep getting the message ‘technical problems try again later’. I need my old number for work, does anyone know how long the technical issues will take to resolve.

@LL38 : When did you give your PAC to EE? Porting don't happen over the w/end. It'll probably happen now on Tues.

It happens every time I try. I input my new ee number, get the security code text then that’s as far as I get. I have tried again today and still getting the ‘technical issues’ message
