Porting old number to EE

I bought a PAYG phone with an EE SIM and am trying to port my old number from Three. I have the PAC code and am filling in the online form, I'm receiving the authentification text but then when I enter the old phone number there is a message saying it's not valid, must be a UK number starting 07, which it is. I have tried several times and checked all the details are correct.

Hi @hazelnut7

Great to hear you have joined us!

Sorry you're having issues with the online form.

From your new EE sim, text PORT to 150 from it.
This will take you through 2 steps to submit your PAC Code and transfer your number.

First it will for the number you want to transfer from your previous network (this can be from any network except EE), then for the PAC code.

Let me know how you get on.

Wow thankyou so much! Bizarrely it didn't send me any prompts to tell me
what to do, but I followed what you said and sent a message with the mobile
number, got no response, then sent one with the PAC code and then got a
reply saying it would be ported.

Thanks for getting back to us with an update @hazelnut7

That's great to hear your port-in request has been accepted now  🙂

It usually goes through next working day, so it should be going through on Monday anytime between 6am and midnight.

Glad I could help you with this!
