I recently completed the porting process online for a relative to transfer number from O2 to EE. How long does this take to happen?

Usually the next working day after you activate the EE SIM. Today isn't.

When exactly was "recently"? Which date and what time?

Porting is usually completed the working day after a PAC is submitted.

@bristolian : The PAC is often submitted with an order for an EE SIM but surely the porting can't commence until the SIM is received & put online to the EE network?
