Porting a number from BT

I am concerned I persuaded my daughter to move her sim from BT to EE. She placed her order on 6th Sept and gave EE her PAC code.  She has received her EE sim and her first EE bill but nothing about her number from BT. She is worried she will lose her number, but doesn't like ringing EE and EE will not deal through me as it is not my account. How likely is it she will lose her number? She activated her new Sim but then put her BT sim back in her phone and it is still working OK.

@Capricorn   She needs to call to make sure it’s being processed,  It can take up to 24hours to port a number.    Numbers are not ported over the weekend and if you leave this till Friday to call it’ll not be ported till Tuesday.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
Thanks it has been about a week now. Both EE sim and BT sim work but she
doesn't want accounts with both, just her old number moved to EE

Hi @Capricorn

She can try completing the online transfer form.

Or, she would need to call us to get this set up, so the BT contract cancels when the number moves to the EE temporary number.

Leanne.

Thanks Leanne but that link doesn't work.  I have tried to persuade her to go to an EE shop close to where she lives
