Port not ported

Hi,

I joined EE yesterday from Plusnet.

I specifically asked to keep my old number.

But the SIM has arrived today, I have not yet inserted. But on the card enclosing the SIM it’s states Mob no: ….and a completely different one. So will the card in fact have this number or will it still contain my old number….?

Does anyone please have any idea how I should proceed.?

\Thank you

The SIM will have a temporary number, most likely the one you've identified. Inserting the SIM into your phone will serve to activate that SIM onto EE's network, at which point your PAC will be submitted for port-in.

If you do this before approximately 5pm on a working weekday, your number will be ported-in the following working day.

Thank you very much for this! Very much appreciated.

But just tried to change SIM and it appears the wrong size for the ‘tray’

Not sure what to do with it? Can I return for another size?

Hi @Minty56

Does the SIM pop out into a smaller size? It should be a 'combi' SIM.

Chris

Yes!! I found it just after pointing…..just awaiting the number to port now :0

Thank you 🙂
