Morning all.
Dies anyone know why EE would choose, after approximately 4 phone calls and over 12 hours in chat conversations, which finally got a brand new phone SIM working with the right number and then the Watch connected to cellular, to then a day after it’s all working, to remove the cellular contract from the Watch?
All while having the cheek to send me a bill for £47 for monthly services.
It appears to me that lessons are not being lesnted from onboarding mistakes
I guess I’m now going to have one of these horrible extended calls or chat sessions yet again, where someone will assure me that everything will be ‘working in 24, or working in 4 hours’
Id this is happening to one person who simply has contracted for a phone SIM and an Apple Watch Ultra 2, then I feel sorry for anyone who does anything slightly more complex.
Anyway - in all seriousness- I’ve stuck with this as there’s a mast nearby, but is there a wider issue at EE with being able to support their infrastructure?
(I ask that because as well as the inability to keep four explicit promises so far - I have registered in the three locations so far I’ve used my phone - which are my common three locations
23mb download (fine all good)
7mb download (on 4G signal, so rubbish)
7mb download (on 5g !!! as well as repeating on 4g)

Expired in the photo from
the Watch iOS app is quite funny as that’s almost what my sense of humour has done.
Is there anyone we can speak to that’s a bit more au fait with how the infrastructure and contracts actually work. My experience with 150 so far is people following scripts, which break down as soon as I have something different on a screen than they expect. There’s not been much actual experience of either device on the end of the phone .. which is fine when everything is ‘normal’ but doesn’t work so well when some insight is needed.

Hi @trial812
There is no customer account access on these forums.
You'll need to speak to EE CS on 150 about this issue.
Thanks
To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Indeed.
The wider question about whether EE are currently able to handle volume of customers using their infrastructure or maintain the infrastructure at its current level is still one of interest to me that 150 services won’t answer but many people with more experience than I, may have a view on.
(infrastructure in my terms means contracts, connectivity, mast performance etc)
I realise of course that many people who have issue will suffer in silence and/or never look at forums like this, but it could be useful nonetheless to gauge if these kind of issues are common amongst the community.

Maybe a better CS question is - is there a way to speak to someone at 150 that can fix (what seems to be as it’s been tried twice now) complex problems of providing a cellular contract on an Apple Watch Ultra 2.
I have had three people try this, all of whom promised ‘it’ll work fine in four hours’. One of those people managed to enable it (albeit 12-16 hours later) and it lasted a day.
So attaching a contract to a Watch is presumably quite a complex thing.

Thanks @Katie_B - not in my inbox (refreshed and re-logged in to check) yet but I’ll keep an eye out - appreciate that. I’ll reply as soon as I get it hopefully. Fingers crossed
