Hi, I have a pixel 6 and moved from SMARTY to EE, I did the number transfer and it seems to work OK, I can see my number on my EE account but when checking my phone settings it shows the temporary number given by EE. As such I'm unable to make or receive texts and phone calls. I've tried removing the sim, turning phone off and on but no joy.
What should I do?

@Loganjcbell Turn the device off remove the sim and restart the device, give it a moment and switch off the device and reinstall the sim and reboot the device.

It didn't work. I'll take it to an EE store to try and sort out I guess.

I'm being told different advice by everybody. The first advisor on the phone said to go into an EE store and get a new sim card with my number built on that. The 2nd advisor said to reset the phone, remove sim etc. I went into an EE store today but they said it would make no different getting a new sim card. I spoke to an agent again on the phone after my EE store visit but they were lost too.
The photo below is my internal phone settings, the number in there is wrong, it must be the temporary number that was on this EE sim, whereas on my EE online account and RCS chats my number is correct.

Which specific menu option are you looking at? It may be purely cosmetic.
I strongly doubt it will be preventing calls from being made or received. What happens when you try dialling out, for example?

Maybe it was cosmetic then, but I was sure I wasn't receiving texts and calls, or they were being intermittent
I was able to change the number in the internal settings by putting my sim card into an iPhone and modifying the number on there, then putting the sim back into my phone (found this solution online).
