Phone shows No SIM - No Service

My Google Pixel 6 Pro has started showing 'No SIM - No service' on the screen and I cannot make calls or send texts. Sometimes restarting the phone works for a little while but eventually it goes back to that same message.

I tried taking my SIM card out and putting it into my old phone and the same problem still occurs so i'm led to believe its a SIM issue.

I ordered and received a new SIM card, however since I cannot make calls I don't know how to activate it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @frankswift,

Welcome to the EE Community 🙂

I am sorry to hear you have been having some issues with your SIM recently. As your old SIM is not working at all, it wont be possible to recieve a PIN to activate the new one online you will need to speak to one of our guides.

If you have any other phones in the house you can call us on 07953 966 150, or if you have access to Wi-Fi and download Skype you can call us through there on +44 800 079 8586 or if you have the EE app, you can select Help> Message us to get help that way also.
