HI All,
My contract is up on the 24th August and I will be switching provider to a PAYG with another network to get rid of these crazy annual fee increases. I know how to get a PAC but when is the earliest I can switch without incurring extra charges. Do I have to give one months notice to EE?
I'm assuming for best value I get my PAYG sim from my other provider on the 20th/21st Aug say and enter my PAC code that day so that in a couple of days I'm all switched over. Is this correct?
Thanks!

You've no need to give 1 month's notice if your new provider uses your PAC on 24th Aug or later. So I would give your PAC to them on the 23rd.

@Marybrann66 : As you want to keep your number, text PAC to 65075. It will respond with your PAC & how much you will have to pay in Early Termination Fees if you are still within your min term. Give the PAC to new provider. This will have the effect of cancelling your EE contract but you may be liable to pay early termination fees. Best to do this in last few days of your contract term so you have little or no overlap.
