Hi,

I need to get hold of a PAC code but don’t have access to receive the text or verification from the number I need to port. Is there another method of retrieving this that doesn’t rely on texting to the number?

thanks

Yes, @wmorris84 , phone CS for your PAC.

Why don't you have access to the SIM? You do own it, don't you? If not, you can't port it.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I have the physical sim, I own the sim, but I've just upgraded (unknown to me at the time) to a sim free phone and have no phone capable of a physical SIM available. I also live abroad so EE store visits aren't easy. I need this for UK banking and other services.

Wish eSim was a standard for anyone regardless of contract type to be honest.

@wmorris84  your first problem is that you’re abroad you cannot transfer and activate an eSIM whilst abroad.   eSIM is device dependent not contract type as all contract customers can have an eSIM if the device supports an eSIM.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
