I've rung EE, I've texted the number, I've been on hold for an hour on the chat guide option. How do I get my PAC code? Contracts ended and I'm switching to a much cheaper provider but want to keep my number.

Welcome to the EE Community
It's worth giving Customer Care team a call to see what they can do to stay with EE.
If you still want to leave they can issue a PAC code for you. Just call 150 from your EE SIM and select option 2 followed by the option for leaving EE.
As long as you have only 1 line on the account the easiest way to get a PAC code is just text PAC (from the phone) to 65075
If that doesn't work you would need to call Customer Care to manually issue the PAC code for you.
Alternatively you can request a PAC code through the EE app.
