Hi All, i have moved overseas and just bought the new Iphone 16 Pro, tried transferring everything over to new phone.

But my ESIM will not transfer over, is anyone been in this situation and able to help.

I can't call the help number as it will be too costly waiting on hold, i also can't find an email contact for assistance.

Now im stuck moving around with 2 phones, just for my line.

Thank You in advance

eSIM is not supported on PAYG. Also any new PAYG SIM needs to be activated on EE's UK network before it will work abroad, there is no workaround. There is no CS email address.

A physical SIM can be easily moved to a working phone, but there can often be complications with activating any new SIM abroad - whether "e" or "p" variety.

Hi bristolian, hope you well.

Thanks for your reply.

I was in Uk and on contract with EE network with my ESIM, its only after my move overseas did i convert it to a PAYG.

Hope that makes sense.

@impratza  You can not migrate an eSIM that was used for a contract to PAYG.  you need a physical SIM card.
You can not switch from a contract to PAYG when abroad.  You need a physical SIM card and that sim has to be used in the UK first before it’ll work abroad, once it’s used in the Uk will it work abroad.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Cancelling a pay-monthly line requires 30days notice, and after that notice has expired, your "new PAYG SIM" needs to be used on EE's UK network before it will work abroad.

If you have travelled abroad before that 30days had elapsed, your PAYG SIM will not have roaming enabled and thus will not work abroad until it is activated in the UK first.

There is no workaround.
