Old number transfer

I ordered a pay monthly SIM. I gave my PAC code at time of order. I have received the SIM and installed but it still has new ee number. I waited a few days after receiving the SIM before inserting it to give time for the old number to register. Does it just take time or do I need to do something else?

I've tried calling 150 and can't get through. Waited 30 mins.

@AmbCam80  You can not have two Sim cards with the same number which is why the new Sim has a different number at present your number needs to migrate to that new SIM card.     You need to allow up to 24 hours for it to port across.  If it’s not done by the The morning I will talk customer services first thing.

silly question but you say old number are you transferring from a different network ? A pac code is it to move from one network to a different network you do not use a PAC code to move a number on that same network

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks for your reply. Appreciated.

Yes, I'm moving from another network so provided the PAC code to keep my number.

I'll check tomorrow to see if it's changed.

Thanks again.
